Barriers to Employment among Persons with Mental Illness


The text deals with the problematic of participation of the persons with mental illness in the labour force and their vocational rehabilitation. The article describes the most significant barriers which prevent persons with mental illness from getting and keeping job and further outlines the various types of vocational programes which can significantly reduce such barriers.
