Lifelong Education as Instrument for Support of Social Inclusion of People with Disabilities


Abstract:

The article discusses possible obstacles inhibiting people with disabilities from social inclusion and participation in civilian (citizens) life. It is focused on complete rehabilitation and its targets as well as tools in relation towards position of disadvantaged people in the society. It states specifics and methodology, advantages and risks of lifelong education and marks its significancy for development of political orientation, civic and professional competences and improvement of for-social literacy of people with disabilities. The article also draws attention to positive impacts of lifelong education on quality of life of these people and considers modern attitudes or approaches that accent the cross points of facilitation of people with disabilities in the area of education and social work.
