Interoperability Framework of Young Volunteers


Abstract:

Important element for the development of society are young people. Although, they are in the viewing angle of specialists , their involvement in civil society is neglected. This post is trying to bring the potentiality of young people to active involvement in the form of volunteering. Special emphasis is placed on interoperability, as a highest level of interconnection of the interests and needs of young and society, realized through cross-border volunteering. We present a conceptual model of youth volunteering, including key elements and relationships. In this model attributes and capacity of youth volunteers are incorporated. In the end the effects of international volunteering on youth volunteers and society are summarized.
