Volunteering as an Opportunity for Intergenerational Learning


This paper explains the concept of intergenerational learning. Intergenerational learning could arise in any range of contexts in which young people and elderly people come together in shared activity. Volunteering of elderly, volunteering for elderly, and jointly volunteering, could be one of the option of meeting this two generations. Author aims to highlight the importance of intergenerational learning through volunteering to connecting generations and develops social intergenerational solidarity and contributing to the ideal of the fulfillment of individual human potential (as supporting framework of social work).
