Lost Memory of Civic Society?


This study aims to the marginalized aspect of the development of the civic society in the Czech republic – history of the charitable institutions in the last centuries. This long-lasting history shows the rich world of foundations, associations and cooperatives and indicates that sources of the civic ethos and human cooperation czech society could look for not only in the foreign patterns but also in the itself.
