“Antiradicalism” of Czech Social Services, or How Do the Organizations of Social Services Solve the Decline of Funding

Social service organizations in the Czech Republic may face a shortage of funds, which can significantly affect their functioning and the lives of their clients. The aim of our paper was to identify strategies used by organizations providing social services during the decline in funding, try to take into account the consequences of these strategies for clients of these organizations and interpret the strategies in terms of “critical social work”. To achieve the goal we used qualitative interviews with representatives of seven organizations. The output of our article is the hypothesis of “antiradicalism” of Czech social service organizations and Czech social workers.
