Inspiration for Clinical Social Work in Slovakia – Present and Future in the 21st Century

The author’s ambition of the explorated article is to penetrate the view of clinical social work development in Slovakia on the background of Anglo-Saxon practice (more specifically in USA). Their attention is focused towards clinical social work research in the 21st century, through the lens of a short historical reflection with an emphasis on current and future development. The authors, in their theoretical and methodological platform, work in societal positions of hypermodern time (Lipovetsky, 2013) with the requirement of social reality reflection in relation to the clinical client.
